Eric,
Looks great especially with those stamps. Is this now going to be part of your restoration package? https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...iggthumpup.gif |

Rick;
Thanks. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif I only have stamps for a few carbs. I really need to gather up some more stamps for some of the more popular carbs as well, i.e. the 4053's, 4346's, et.al. Once I have a more exhaustive collection I'll be able to offer the stamps as an option if people decide they want them. Eric |

I'd buy it but all my automatics already have Eric Jackson carbs. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif

Your workmanship and ethics have earned it! [/ QUOTE ] Eric is the ONLY sublet of mine who has EVER contacted me after the fact asking if a simple issue had been resolved and this was almost a year after the work was completed and something completely out of his control. Our illustrious UPS managed to damage his double boxed shipment and in turn bent the linkage and possibly the throttle shaft. I managed to fix it the best I could and think it is ok. Eric recently contacted me and not only offered to tear it down and check it but also replate the entire carb (probably with his new stamps too https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/wink.gif ) using a new technique and for something that had nothing to do with his work. Now THAT is what I call service and ethics! In the last couple of years I have had a rash of sublets take complete advantage of me and go way beyond their original verbal bids and stick it to me upon delivery. It is very refreshing to see at least one sublet that charges a very fair price, has a very quick turnaround and sooner than promised, delivers what was promised and more often then not, beyond original expectations. I wish there were more like you Eric. I will boast someone all day long for outstanding service but will not recomend anyone who sticks it to me. These people do not seem to realize that the extra they overcharged us in no way compares to the great word of mouth one gets for excellent service. Great service goes a long way and we thank you. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif Rick |
