67 Camaro bench seat question

Fairly rare. Was available on '67 & '68 Camaros and have heard a tale or two of early 69's having them, but don;t know if there is evidence to support that.

more common on 67/8's than you think, I have seen plenty of them, they are neat and they look cool with deluxe covers.

I'm with Bud. I think it's a cool interior(but then, I like column shift cars, too https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/cool.gif). There's a '68 up in Folsom, 327/275 motor, AC, AM-FM, Seafrost green w/the '68 gold standard bench seat interior. That is a neat combo. Gotta love the arm rest, too.

To add one more odd/rare seating option -
In '67 only 9 cars were equipped with the AL5 Rear Center Seat Belt - Deluxe
and only 6 with the A68 Rear Center Seat Belt-Standard!

I have a friend with a bench seat and a/t column shift in his 68 Camaro. Could you get it in any Camaro or just a base model like his?

It was available only on coupes and I think you could get it with about any engine cofiguration. I looked at a '68 SS in Phoenix with a 396/325, TH400 on the column and bench seat https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...iggthumpup.gif. I have never seen a bench seat 67-68 w/a floor shift (non-console); although, if you look at the RPO's, it seems it was a possibility.

I never saw a 67/8 with gauges, I would guess that was the only option it kicked out?
