Looking for correct NOS 1970 Nova L78 alternator or good one that can be restored correct numbers need a October or september 1969 date since car has a 11B build date. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...s/confused.gif

that's an 837... that is the same one for a Late 69 Z, COPO, or L78 Camaro... be prepared to shell out $750 - $1500 for one.

What is the full numbers on the 837 alernator and what would be the dates for Sept that are stamped on them

If your car was assembled in November 1969,look for an August or November #837 stamping date.
I'll PM you the specific days they were released on those months.
