I was watching Muscle Car on Spike yesterday, and the guy was showing how to modify a subframe to accomodate a bunch of different engines. He cut apart the suspension parts with a torch, including removing spiral shocks.

correct OE style rear spiral shocks. The date code was purposely omitted so you can punch the correct date for your car. Licensed by GM.
