Old Moroso Tach
 

Seeing all the old tachs recently, prompted me to look at some of my old gauges.

Here's some pics an old Moroso Cable Drive Tach.
Anyone know the approximate year for this?
Anyone have a current value?

Very nice Rick. What would that feed off? Tranny? Does it interface with Speedo cable too?

Cool piece...weren't they only made to feed off distributors with the tach drive?.

That's what I recall; driven from the distributor.

Yeah, my one off cable drive Yenko tach. VERY rare.

I really don't know much about this tach. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/dunno.gif It does move the needle when I spin the cable.
I'm fairly sure it would run off the distributor, but I never used one like it. It came with a bunch of things out of an old mechanics shop.

Ideas on the year?

-----Rick,,, That looks like the other end of a Corvette tach cable. Ill bet you could use any Corvette tach-drive distributer and that tach cable would would hook right up!!!.......Bill S
