New Attic Find: Look what I found in my own attic!

All this searching around in that old speed shop attic got me thinking about what the heck I have forgotten about in my own house! I think I remember buying this way back in the 1970's. It has a 1972 date code on the box. Anyone know who made these? It looks very "Sun" like, especially the way the redline mechanism works. It took the cup off but there was no logo or any info inside other than a little sticker that instructs you which resistor leads to cut to make it work on a 4 or 6 cylinder engine.

Yep, I'd guess Dixco as well. They used the concave washer and screw set-up like that on the back of the cup, and the wires fed out of the bottom of the cup.

That's gotta be a RARE piece! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/drool.gif

Very nice Steve. Cool cool find. And it was sitting up in your attic all this time!

It's amazing how I forgot to remember all the stuff I forgot. If I could only recall where I parked that extra hemicuda back in 1980... https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/hmmm.gif
