Market price adjustment addendums are routinely used when demand is stronger than the supply, for a given vehicle. A very rare situation for the Domestics but there are some like the '07 ZO6.

The going mark up here in Hawaii for ANY GM/Ford etc vehicle is $4,999. the 15K kind of caught me off guard!

That is crazy. The last car you helped me with via shipping back to the mainland/California, cost was only $1,000.00.

how bout a 125K Maserati still had a $25K added to the 125K and a GMC 1500 with a sticker of $34,931 had $4,995 added bringing it to $39,926 for a 2 WD Crew Cab and guess what the sticker prior to the $4,995 indicates yet another $900 for destination charges as well as $825 destination charge was stickered on the Z06 as well. Looks like any new car in my furture would be bought on the mainland and shipped as used with a few hundread miles on it

The C6-Z06 price is down to MSRP and they can be had for less. Screw 'em. $90k is M5 territory.

Try and source whatever vehicle you want and make a deal w/ a Canadian Dealer...check to confirm of course, but isn't selling above MSRP illegal here in Canada?.

Yeah and if you buy a GM from Canada and forget to tuck your paperwork away, 35 years from now you will always have GM of Canada as a source of documentation! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/grin.gif

I don't think it's illegal because they're doing it with the New Shelby.

No it's not illegal, matter of fact I recently e-mailed Scott S. about the possibility of this (ADP) happening on the new Camaro if and when it comes out. I told him this additional dealer mark-up will probably ruin possible record sales for the new Camaro, since many prospective buyers will be priced out of the market. He responded that GM is very furious about the ADP, but nothing can be done since it would be a violation of anti-trust laws for a manufacturer to demand a product to be sold at MSRP. This works on the upside as well as the downside of pricing. I guess the new Camaro will take its place next to the new T-Bird. C
