Re: used GM "Fisher Body" sill plates
while on this obscure subject.....may I also ask for a VERY GOOD set of 70+ Camaro/Firebird aluminum sills. I will either offer $$$$ or buy you new repop RIVETED plates + money.....

Re: used GM "Fisher Body" sill plates
Tommy,
Buy a set of repops and rivet them using the attached step by step process. (thanks to chevynova.org) I do this on all my Chevelle restorations. Very simple and looks very original. You can also obtain the rivets at your local hobby/train store. Sill plate riveting Rick |

Re: used GM "Fisher Body" sill plates
I salvaged some rivets from a beat-up set of sill plates for my car. Virtually all the originals I have seen have a crescent shaped mark on them from the rivet tool.
