I don't understand why, as a restorer anyway, that "we" would want a 1978 dated engine. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/dunno.gif

As a drag race engine, I guess it's worth it. JMO

[/ QUOTE ] Rick, you have to look at it this way. Would you rather have a GM crate L88 AND 1000.00 to buy some aviation fuel, or 2 used fan/clutches for a 68 camaro??!! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/grin.gif https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/grin.gif

Ha Ha, You're cracking me up. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/haha.gif

But seriously, are you using the engine to race, or does it have value as something to put into a restoration?

I guess I'm just surprised to see you have interest in this engine, when I see almost everything else you deal in has to do with the restoration end.
