70 Z28 exhaust parts
 

I am looking for original style head pipes and over the axel pipes. Any suggestions? I have tried all the repro places, local shops, on line searchs, and so forth. Anyone have some for sale? Thanks.

I got a set of over the axles pipes I bought about 15+ years ago.
You can likely buy the whole thing from Gardner.

Try NAPA or any Walker exhaust dealer. Walker was the NOS supplier for these pipes.

I have a set of head and over the axle pipes that I was thinking of having a local muffler shop duplicate. If you would like, I can check on this. As far as I know, Walker discontinued the parts long ago. A guy by the name of Joey Gray make a very nice set of correct tailpipes for these cars.

Also, Gardner makes a nice Exhaust kit, very correct except for the muffler, which is an IMCO replacement. The original NOS mufflers are very difficult to locate. The whole kit will run you about a grand though and they will not seperate the parts. I believe Chuck Sharin (Camarosrus)has good reference pics of the correct exhaust parts as well. Thanks,
