Steering wheel restoration
 
Any recommendations? I need the horn shroud from a 68 Camaro with a deluxe wheel done. Thanks

That should be the easy part to find....LOL...The wheel is TOUGH to find in one piece...

why dont you restore it yourself
I did mine and it came out geat. I first lightly glass beaded the shroud, then i painted it black with the spray can for the council paint.When dry I erased the paint
from the chrome accents with a pencil eracer (rought one)(slowly) to rub the paint off. Or you can use OOO steel wool
to slowly remove the paint.

PJ, That is actually a good idea to use the eraser. I am going to try it, as I have a couple of these to experiment with. Thanks for the help.

remember that you must get a course eracer and not a smooth
