1969 396/375 Hp 4 Bolt Block Wanted
 

I am looking for a 1969 4 bolt 396 block with a pad stamping of T0417JH. It is a long shot but someone may have one. A date within a week of April 17th will also be considered. Thanks,

Wow, that is unreal. I just bought one here in Houston build date T0416JH out of a Nova. You can see the stamp pad in the Tech section under "block stamping" What is the condition of the block? Any overbore, stripped threads, sleeves, etc. You can send pics and price info to [email protected]. Thanks,

since my posting here I have been contacted by another member who says he is pretty sure that he knows where the car from which my block came is.I will keep you posted.The block is standard but will probly need to be taken to .30.What is it worth?

If the block can be mated back to the original car that would be great. Most original blocks seem to go between $800 to $1200 depending on condition but in the original car would be worth more. Your block sequence # is about 4000 cars earlier than the block I purchased. Could you post a pic of the stamp pad? Thanks,
