I use Castrol Super Clean. Spray on liberally, then scrub thoroughly with a soft bristle brush. Rinse immediately in hot water.

Re: restoring rubber weatherstrips
I have one original drip rail weatherstrip that is nice and pliable, and another that is a little stiff. Someone told me to wipe baby oil on it every day or two. I did it for 3-4 weeks, and could not tell that it softened very much, if at all. Anyone have a miracle cure?
