If someone were to want one this would be the car to have.
It is pretty complete and most of the original markings should be able to be found.
The price is not out of line with a buy it now of $110,000
It would cost you 80K to do it right... and it is anybody's guess as to what it would be worth.

I think that there is a `69 blue L89 ragtop going through the Mecum auction this month. Reserve is $300K if I heard right. What I don't know is how much documentation is with that car.

I owned that car. I sold it in 1999. I bought it from the original owner in 1993. Its a real L-89 conv with owner history ,all of the owners met last year at the Mid Atlantic Ace's show.
