1969 camaro ss 396 375 documentation question

recently aqquired a 69 camaro ss x66 code norwood from an onwer who has had the car since the early 70's he got the car with no engine , car has #'s matching muncie , 12 bolt 410 , he put a small block in the car as long as hes had it, it has a deep groove p/s on which only would come on a 375 car .I know its a 375 car, just trying to any other things to look for.

Look for the single 3/8" diameter fuel line from the tank to the pump. Also, the 375 Hp BB has the 6000 RPM redline tachometer if it is installed. Deep groove pulleys are another good indicator. If you can track the previous owners, that would be invaluable.

Look for the heater core cover with the lines in the center
vs. the end closest to the engine. Look for a BB X-member
( unique 4-speed -and- unique THM400 ). The THM400 version
is tubular ( this application only ) and the BB 4-speed has
a square hole vs. a racetrack shaped hole.

All SHP 69 Camaro applications used the '1105DD pulley
( Z/28 & L/78 & L/72 ).

Look for the engine frame mount part numbers stamped on
the upper portion between the two bolt hole locations.

If the original alternator survived, that would be an '837
part number. Again, SHP only.

There's a good start. The single 3/8" fuel line was already
mentioned.
