One of my favorite subjects and this is what I've learned. We're talking 4-speed manual trans; physically they look similar with the square hole/diagonal cut access for the trans mount bolts and the indent on the top passenger side. The difference is in the trans mount hole location. This first pic is of a Pontiac unit. When compared to the second pic of the Camaro, you'll note the Camaro mount holes are a little bit closer to the engine bay and offset a bit towards the passenger side. I see a lot of the wrong ones (they are more common) go for big bucks on Ebay. The Pontiac mount holes are actually in the same postion as the SB Camaro X-member. Chime in anybody if I'm offbase on this one. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/flag.gif

Re: BB cross members
You welcome, Kim. I get this stuff from hanging around a guy named Lillard and another guy named Lodewyk. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...iggthumpup.gif
