Chevy Rumble Blue Deuce Saga
Has anyone other than me read the recent article about the '70 blue Deuce in the March '06 issue of Chevy Rumble? Does anyone know anything more than the article info about this car?
Marlin, according to the article, they say that you were consulted about the car. Alan |

Here's another pic of the car. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...n_DSCF1708.jpg |

Re: Chevy Rumble Blue Deuce Saga
Bruce, the owner of the car, John Jensen of jensen camaro parts is the visable guy just behind the car in your picture and I am on the far right. beautiful car and John is a super nice guy. Ken Schonye and his crew did the car and is one of the reasons mine is there currently.

Re: Chevy Rumble Blue Deuce Saga
Bruce, scanning the article would be cool. Easier to read than me trying to tell the story.
It's a pretty cool piece. One of the autos with the Hurst auto stick. Still had the CBW after all these years, but when we pulled the cover we heard the clink of teeth hit the pan. They had also welded a track locator bar on the rear end. They just missed the stamping by a fraction. Thanks goes to Marlin for this car coming to Ia. and to Bob Mclurg for the article. Jensen's been a friend of ours for a long time. I'd like to say something nice about him, but can't really think of anything nice. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/grin.gif And yes the CTC motor did come from Bill E. Bill has the pearl white/cortez silver "ten seconds to heaven" deuce. Very cool car. If you're in Ia. this coming weekend, the deuce will be at the Monticello Ia. car show along with some other cool cars. Stop by and say hi. Schonye |
