Re: Firewall Markings?
I know its not the original engine. If you are looking at the firewall from the core support they are on the passenger side behind the valve cover down towards the bottom.

Re: Firewall Markings?
Could it possibly be salvage yard markings from a car racked....maybe even w/ subframe removed so you can read it from below? . What's it say...G 1 G B B? . BB for Big block? . Pretty aggresive markings for a line worker? ~ Pete

Re: Firewall Markings?
Most of the 70 Novas I've seen have some type of marking - under the black paint. The codes are usually duplicates of what is on the trim tag, usually written in white grease pencil, and were for the line workers to know what to install, etc..
Big yellow stuff like that refers to a body color change done by Motion, although usually found in the door jam - so you must have a Motion Nova https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/grin.gif |
