Re: Body date code?

Yes it is, but i cannot remember - however there is one on each quarter, tail panel, door and trunk. Its the production date stamp that should be before your body built date. If i recall and someone will correct me, H (im not sure of, but 27 is the week)

Anyone else??

Re: Body date code?

Thanks Ed, I'm thinking H would be aug. My car is a 68 O7C, knowing of this car since 1977 I was 99 % sure they were original.

Re: Body date code?

H is the plant code where the part was made, 27 is the week the part was made.

Re: Body date code?

Anyone know what stamping plant 'H' related to?

Is H27 a production date code or a die (press) number?
