Is that the right steering wheel horn button? My 72 SS had that on it when I bought it (in 1978) all the SS's I have seen since had the black one with SS on it so I changed it.

Yes that steering wheel (minus the woodgrain) was on my brothers 71 Z28 when he bought it in 74. He wasn't too fond of it and changed it soon after... I think we might still have it...

Mine had the woodgrain one on it but I have never seen one on a SS, all the SS's I have seen have SS on the horn button. I guess this one is probibly correct since Z's don't have special steering wheels. So my question now is would this also be correct for a SS with custom interior? https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...s/confused.gif

No the wheel would not be correct for an SS car. The center of the horn cap would have an SS emblem embossed on it. The above wheel is correct for the the Z/28 with custom interior. If the car had been a Rally Sport Z/28 then the horn cap would have an RS in the center.

Missing rear bumper guards, wrong fan shroud, looks like it has the Z21 rear tail lights but not front parking light bright metal accent along with no bright chrome trim around the doors/hood and green tape on the door handles. Looks like the Z21 tail lights were added since it's missing all the other Z21 items.
