67 Yenko Clone
Thought this was interesting, even though the guy is misinformed. Did a nice job, but it's still a clone and he's getting good money for it!!

Re: 67 Yenko Clone
In my opinion if you're going to clone it in to a Yenko at least make it look like one. Don't like the wheels, dressed up engine, and tube chassis parts. I din't realize Yenko did that to his cars. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...thumbsdown.gif

This car would be as cool and beastly without the Yenko emblems. Keep the stinger hood, sure, but ditch the emblems. So many '69 Yenko Camaro Clones would be killer without the striping. Clones in such an abundance that (for me) they take away from the radiance of a real car. Speculation is doled because of the augmenting number of fakes. I say take the Y-Stripes off the car and drive the 427 like it was meant to be driven.... https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/burnout.gif |
Re: 67 Yenko Clone
Clone means exact copy. I wish the clone word would become extinct, I hate it. Use wannabee, look alike, etc., but not clone unless its built to exact specs as original, IMO.
