I put that in my "Ebay Watch List" yesterday Rick to see where it goes. Don't think the ad mentioned the items you disclosed, supposedly all "numbers matching" according to the listing. Hmmmmmmm https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...s/confused.gif

One repaint twenty years ago, missing dist, has all dealer warranty paperwork for the CE swap.He ordered the car in Oct with L89,but didn't take delivery till mid Jan due to the RPO change.Still has timing slips from the early seventies! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ins/3gears.gifExtremely early BAL production-Could possibly be one of,if not the first LS6 Elco's to roll down the line-

Rick I talked with him yesterday, because I am looking for one still. He said CE motor, original 12 bolt rear and tranny. I did not ask him about exhaust manifolds, etc. He emailed me doc's that look legit, nice guy to talk to. If it had the orig. motor I would be all over it, nice car anyway.

Here is the quote from the ad.
The motor is a 454 LS-6 450 hp. numbers matching . The trans is a M-22 4speed And a 12 bolt..

Why not just say it's a CE block and avoid the problems.
Looks like an Orange County Chopper guy wants it. Paul Sr. ????
He's got a bunch of cars..

Re: LS-6 Elco-Ebay

The price is very high IMO... Its non numbers matching, engine compartment is far from correctly detailed, and there are about 75 holes drilled into the bed trim (possibly even the sheetmetal) for an aftermarket tonnaeu cover... It's generally a nice looking truck, but $56,000 and Reserve is not met??? Did anyone ask what the reserve is?
