Hurst white ball vs. Hurst T-handle
It would be interesting to hear some personal preferences on the classic white Hurst ball vs. the Hurst T-handle. I love the look of the white ball, but when it comes to driving, something just feels right about that T-handle in your right hand. I'm kinda torn on which to use. Be great to hear some other opinions. Thanks.

I just like the look & feel of the T-Handle.

Re: Hurst white ball vs. Hurst T-handle
I have a white Hurst Tee handle which I used on the Chevelle. The handle had yellowed with age. Fine sand paper took the yellow coat off and clear coat made the handle look like new. They are so easy to change that you can use whatever suits your fancy that day. Our 396 car has a Hurst box with a Muncie shift handle. That works fine too and looks stock.

Re: Hurst white ball vs. Hurst T-handle
I have a white Hurst T-handle (courtesy of GTO DON) that looks and feels great. Also have a Hurst gold fleece t-handle (NOS) and sometimes I use my ball with the seam in it. But most of the time I like the vintage white T-handle!

Try the last number I gave you, Bob.
geeeez, just noticed which post # this is for me. You'd think I could've saved it for something more appropriate... https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...s/confused.gif https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/frown.gif |
