Holley Fast Idle Cam Question

Just curious where I can obtain another Holley Fast idle Cam like the one shown below. It came from an OEM Holley off a 70 Z28 Auto LT1. The tab which hooks over the Choke bellcrank is busted, so the engine will not idle properly when cold. Part number shown on the cam is 41R499.

Re: Holley Fast Idle Cam Question

If you haven't tried Holley yet... try them first. I believe that it is the Holley Custom shop??? They rebuild muscle car carb and most likely have the piece in stock.

Any Speed Shop, Carb rebuild shop, Holley themselves. Look in Hemmings. Sam

That fast idle cam is a replacement unit. If you are going to replace it, you should replace it with a correct unit. They should be a greenish tint, sometime more blue than others.

Re: Holley Fast Idle Cam Question

Great info. My L-78 Holley carb has a green one. I will look for a green or blue one then. Thanks,

Paul
