Re: 1969 Z/28
And all it needs is about $100,000 in restoration work. But, RS/Z's will probably be going for $200,000 one day soon. We might laugh now but this baby could show up at B-J 2010 with a flock of hungry bidders shuffling up the ramp behind it as it's driven on stage. Ya' just never know.

[/ QUOTE ] https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/blush.gifI gotta tell ya,That auction is just plain crazy!!! I have a better idea, Give Sam 55k for his and invest the other 45k in a 70 1/2 killer zee and take those two cars to the same auction and get the same results!! Not to mention enjoying the cars till you sell them unlike putting youself thru misery while restoring that pig and still having a dressed up w#%re when completed. CAN YOU IMAGINE? HE CALLS THAT CAR A SURVIVOR!! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/haha.gifNo wonder NCRS wants that word for themself! Just an idea. We are now taking you back to your normal programming. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/naughty.gif |
Re: 1969 Z/28
That auction even reveals greater flaws in the car. The indoors pictures and fluorescent lighting ... that thing is royal shame! Whoever kept that car outside all those years should be ... never mind.
I think it is safe to say that car is wasted https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/blush.gif Bloomington coined the phrase "survivor" not the NCRS. Some restoration experts chime in here... How much would you charge to restore that Camaro? |

Re: 1969 Z/28
Same car that was on EBAY...bought and flipped by 69LM1...and now back on EBAY for even more $$$. When will the insanity end!!!

Re: 1969 Z/28
Well it worked the first time. Let's buy it and flip it again. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...s/confused.gif
Imagine the $ it would take to bring this car just to number 2 resto. Might be a better idea to just buy a done car. Truly a shame to see such a cool car in this condition. At this point maybe parting it out is a better idea. I agree with Bill. Got to be 100K to get this thing back on the road. Anyone else car to guess? |
