The Supercar Registry - Want to buy or reproduce original Dana lic plate.

Hello I am looking to buy 1 or 2 original DANA license plates in any almost any condition or accurate reproductions if they make any. I would also be interested in paying to borrow an original plate so I can have a couple reproduced from sand cast or lost wax process if I can't find any original's. There are a couple of people on this site that have made replica's but they have sold them all to other members and the ones they made weren't very accurate. Several other members have apparently asked them for plates but they don't have any more. My father has a car that was originally sold by DANA Chevrolet. It is not a valuable DANA modified car unfortunately. It is a basic 4 door but he has had it forever and loves it. Unfortunately the original plates got tosse for some nice Chrome models long ago before DANA plates were worth anything. He is getting a bit old now and I am restoring it to show condition for him while he can still enjoy it. I will have way more money in it than it is worth but it is important for me to do this. Because the car is already costing me way more than it is worth it doesn't matter how much I pay for a plate or 2 or how much it cost me to borrow one to make a mold from. It is an extremely expensive process so I can't make one for everyone that asks unless they are stupid enough to pay as much money as I am for one. If someone has one they want to loan me I will give them WHATEVER they want for a deposit before I recieve the plate. I will also pay them a lot to let me borrow it. No damage will come to it. I have lived in California since the 60's and have seen many DANA plates on cars during that time. I know they sold thousands of cars but for some strange reason all those thousands of plates have virtually all but disappeared. I have watched this site for a while and from my observations I'm sure I will get a lot of different responses to this ad, some good and some probably bad for whatever reason, however, I haven't seen anyone else complain about the other people making DANA plates so please don't single me out and beat me up over it.
