Not sure I follow your logic. If the car was not originally produced with the option it would increase the cars value minimally. A real factory equipped JL8 car is certainly a valuable option. By adding the option you may increase it but probably not by what he is asking 12K. That setup is probably more value to a documented JL8 car that is missing those components.

I was saying if your car was missing one you would triple the value, I was thinking of buying it to hold on to as an investment as there are only a couple hundred known...To just put one on would probably not even add what you paid for the thing. Im sure there are a few cars sporting dana or quick change rears that this could belong to...
