Me Likey!! speaking of toys Sam, have your received your last "toy" purchase yet? [/ QUOTE ] Im still going over the numbers with his mechanic, Alt not matching, Engine is a CE block, Originally told me it had a matching M-21 and mechanic gives me numbers for a non-matching M-20...trying to prove an LA built L78 is pretty tough, has single fuel line, 5700 tach, right dist and engine parts. How can I prove this? What would it be worth with ce block and wrong tranny? Sam |
Re: My new toy
No buildsheet on top of the tank, or hasn't the mechanic checked for it yet? It is going to be hard to prove that this was an original L78, unless you can get some paperwork. If you can come up with some documentation, even without the original 396 block and the M-21, the value would not go down that much, that's if the car is an original L78, which is hard to find these days.
How about the rearend end? Original to the car? Posi? Gear ratio? Single line fuel line is promising. |
Re: My new toy
the rear is correct, I asked him to drop the tank and in back of the seats...anywhere else it could be? hopefully he finds it..
