The last car I built now on Ebay
This 69 Camaro was the last restoration I did, back in 1996/97. It was a complete nut and bolt job with the majority of the work done in my garage. The "Gold Certification" was quite an honor for me, especially given the fact I did it up with a modified engine compartment.
I see the engine bay has now been returned to stock and the twelve bolt removed. Unfortunately the undercarriage has deteriorated since I sold it in 2000. Air conditioning was also added. I think I still have the original distributor for it hanging around here somewhere as I went with a Mallory unit. Don't know if anybody is interested in it, but it was a top notch car when I redid it. The color is not exactly Lemans Blue, it has a little 'Teal" in it. The color got a lot of comments. Perhaps it's been repainted again, but I don't think so. I'll post some pictures below from when I had it. |

Didn't you sell this to a Texas policeman?
Is he still the title holder,or has it moved onto another now? |

Beautiful Camaro, Don https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...iggthumpup.gif
Note to auction photographer: Probably NOT a good idea to take undercarraige photos with piles of Oil-Dri all over the floor https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...thumbsdown.gif |

Didn't you sell this to a Texas policeman? [/ QUOTE ] You are correct Rick. Two years later he sold it on Ebay. I emailed him at that time and he said "I only drove it twice in two years and the money is needed to build our new house". About a year after that I got an email out of the blue saying it was spotted at a Cruise Night in Georgia and the owner was going to return it to stock. It's now in Alabama I see. Bill - he does provide a disclaimer about the oil dry, used for a different vehicle. |

I remember when I first saw it, the engine compartment was not stock. In a couple of the photos you can see that it still has a Georgia tag on the rear. It is from a neighboring county to me. The dealer that is advertising the car is in Dothan, Alabama . |
