Re: 1971 RS 4-spd Z28 on Ebay
Nice car but has a few small detail issues. Cad plated booster is wrong for one.
Are '71 Z/28's worth that kind of money? Couldn't quite get where he was going with his story either. Rick H. |
Re: 1971 RS 4-spd Z28 on Ebay
He confused me Rick. A 71 Z/28 for more than $40,000. I guess I better get up with the times. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/dunno.gif

Re: 1971 RS 4-spd Z28 on Ebay
Nice car other then a few small detail issues. High 30 mid 40 seems like
the going price for a nice 70/71 Z these days and that number is climbing fast. I think this is the car that had a $51,000 BIN a few days ago. |
Re: 1971 RS 4-spd Z28 on Ebay
Sam,
He confused me as well. A buy it now of $51K and after a "Complete Frame off resto", it still needs things corrected??? https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/dunno.gif How hard would it be to find and put on the correct horn shroud or add the chrome drip rails? Don't get me wrong I think the car looks sharp but not $51,000 sharp. In my opinion these cars are not at that price range yet. If they are I better get started on my '70 Z. By the time I have it completed I can sell it and retire. Rick H. |
Re: 1971 RS 4-spd Z28 on Ebay
Rick if you are smart you will gather the parts you need before they get to crazy in
price. I passed on a few things just a year ago and I am paying for it now. I just paid $450 for a set of NOS wheel caps and believe it on not that was a STEAL….. |
Re: 1971 RS 4-spd Z28 on Ebay
Believe me, I have started to collect what I can. Just got a nice correct date coded 110 intake and other small stuff. Now that my 67 is finished (maybe) I can concentrate on the 70.

Finished........
They are NEVER Finished, I am too busy buying another project. *LOL* |
Re: 1971 RS 4-spd Z28 on Ebay
After I posted my response I reread it and said to myself the same thing.
Finished, who am I kidding? I still have a ton of detail work to do on the 67 RS before Carlisle. The 70 Z needs to get stripped and put away for a while. My daily driver '81 Z/28 needs to have the interior put back into it.. Yep, never ends and I love it. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...iggthumpup.gif Rick H. Oh yeah almost forgot.... https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...arleySucks.gif |
