Found 69...L78 Chevelle Block
69 L78 Chevelle owners,
I just obtained a standard bore 272 4 bolt main. Dated A 22 9 TO124JD...(4-Speed) VIN is 394441. I`d rather first ettempt to locate the car with its original engine, before I decide what to do. I know if I was missing my L78 block I would love to have it found. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/cool.gif Dan. |

Nice Dan https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif
What Assembly Plant letter is in the VIN#? A-B-G-K- or Z? It could be from an Elcamino too. |

Good of you to post it Dan. |
Re: Found 69...L78 Chevelle Block
Rick,
Kansas...what was even more interesting for me was that it is only 7 days from my other 69 Chevelle. A 22 9 vs. A 28 9 Dan. |
Re: Found 69...L78 Chevelle Block
God that's close.
In 1969,Kansas Leeds plant was one of the few who built the Elcamino too,so it could be either. |
