Re: Engine lift brackets
But look at the two high bidders... These two guys plus doug-fcmi set prices for parts like you set prices for 1970 dealer memorabilia. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ins/tongue.gif
For Frank D. at least, the parts are going on a a 1 of 2 ZL-1. I think the thing may be that overspending on individual parts by $50 here or $100 there doesn't add up to more than maybe a total overspend bill of $20,000 on what could be the "most correct", almost rarest car that will be worth $300-400K vs. the rest of us trying to buy NOS door weatherstrips on a budget and freaking out about the difference between $750 and $1000 on an $80,000 car. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/dunno.gif I remember about twelve months ago when people were blown away about a $1200 NOS rosewood wheel... Now used ones seem to trade for close to that every week. |

Jeff
I just saw this and I fully agree with you. I was in no way judging or disrespecting anyone with my reply. Merely relaying to myself outloud,it is not 1978 anymore, and times have truely changed. I know Frank D. & Dougfcmi and others, including myself, pay what we want in order to obtain an item for sale. Now sell me those two items I PM'd you about.. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/naughty.gif Rick |
