How to hang wheels in my garage?
1 Attachment(s)
(See attached photo.) How do I hang wheels on my garage wall the way this guy did? They have to be mounted solidly so they don't accidentally fall and hurt the kids or dent the cars. I saw this photo in the new "Chevy Rumble" magazine today. (It's from a story of an original-owner '70 SS 396 Chevelle with "36 options," including special-order Hugger Orange paint.)

Looks like he has them hanging on some heavy duty hooks...

Don't know how that guy did it, but if you want to be sure they are secure, you could run a long lag bolt through the uppermost lug hole in each wheel making sure you pierce a stud with each one. Drive it a couple of inches into the stud and there is virtually no chance of it falling down, and the bolt head would not be very visible, being at the top.
I am sure there are lots of other ways. I would be a little afraid of hooks, just in case one got bumped. Lynn |

Grab a couple Model "A" rear spare tire mounts. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/smirk.gif
