Wanted 1969 nova L78 Plain Jane
Looking to buy a 1969 Nova SS L 78 plain jane any condition considered.

Re: Wanted 1969 nova L78 Plain Jane
It really isn't a plain jane if it has the SS option.

Re: Wanted 1969 nova L78 Plain Jane
What i mean by plain jane is bench seat, dog dish hubcaps.

Re: Wanted 1969 nova L78 Plain Jane
It really depends on your classification of 'plain jane'. I have a 69 Nova SS that came w/ rubber mats, bench seat, steelies, dog dish caps & no side moldings. The only things that let you know it's an SS is the grill, hood louvers & tail panel. Most folks consider the Gibb COPO Novas 'plain janes' as well, even though the came w/ bucket seats & console automatic.

I am also trying to find a car that duplicates my dad's. A 56 Chevy Belair convertible with a continental kit. The colors were black and yellow. Would rather find the same car he owned, but that would be an impossible task. He purchased his 56 right (brand new) off the showroom floor for $2,600.00 |
