It was a giveaway for Group7 Filters... i don't think the company exists anymore either! I have some pics of what I believe is this car being "given away" to a hippy...I mean HAPPY young couple by Donna Mae Mimms at Yenko Chevrolet... I'll dig up a couple and post em later.

the yellow Vega may have been some type of prototype built at Chevy. The stripe is done a little different and I have other pictures of it that show it with GM manufacter plates on it

Rob I can see it now SCR8 A Covair/Vega/Chevelle/Nova/Camaro pic would make for a mean Magazine Cover shot linged up across the starting line at Gateway!!!!
