M-22 Vin stamp question?

Here is a M-22 trans vin stamping. I can make out the "N" and a few numbers but am not sure just what it came out of?

here is a different angle.
I notice that the last pic shows the square edge of the tool that held the stamps. I have had this under the work bench for a lot of years. |

The "B" to me means M21.........

71 Camaro 11N55xx44, I'd guess 6 and 8 are the middle digits.
P1A14B - M21, built Jan 14, 1971 Had to be a hipo car, probably a Z, to get an M21. |

That number is more like what I was thinking it was.. I had forgoten that the grove in the input shaft must make it a M-21.
I was puzzled by the 11 in front of the "N". I could see the 1 next to it as 1971. The extra 1 is usually not on a trany vin stamping? |
