I spent alot of time at "track 44" in the 80's with both my 1972 Camaro and a 1974 Jeep 4x4 with a fiberglass body and a BLOWN 304 ...that was an interesting ride!

Before anyone corrects me, I was remembering wrong, I never ran at Pittsburgh International Dragway in the 80's because I think it had closed by then. The track I was thinking of was Keystone Dragway in western PA.

shots of byron dragstrip thats where i ran when i could find a truck and trailer to drag me up there from central illinois

Any one remember when Byron opened........it was a 4 lane track that ran 4 at a time.........
