TCS Trans switch
-------Can anyone out there tell me where to get the TCS switch that threads into the 4-spd side cover? I believe it delivers the signal to retard or advance the spark in 4th gear on a 1970 LS6 Chevelle 4-spd. It has a round post on it, not a spade. New or used!!!....HELP!!!!..........Bill S

Re: TCS Trans switch
The switch was std on all the applications starting in 1970. Don't know if there were diff. part #'s for BB vs SB. Shouldn't be too hard to come by, why not try some of the trans guys to see what they have. Might be a junkyard item if you know where to look. I believe even the 6 cyl cars came with TCS, so if the switch is universal the solution may be easier. Good luck. TW
