unfortunately my Father had snow tires mounted on these rims for at least the last 20 years this one has its share of HEAVY pitting but was still holding air prior to sandblasting https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/dunno.gif

Re: ID help on 15x6 rally
What is stamped by the valve stem? It is a 68 wheel. JK is 15x6, They also made a DC 15x6 wheel. Roger

Re: ID help on 15x6 rally
If you need to fix the wheels get some 3M Green Pads and an air compressed drill. It should do the trick.

Re: ID help on 15x6 rally
I had them sand blasted and I painted them recently, I can't make out anything near the valve stems https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/frown.gif
Would there be a different set of letters near the stem other than the JK indicated on the inside of the rim? thanks, |
Re: ID help on 15x6 rally
The Colvin book lists 1968 15x6 Rally codes as follows:
DF = Z/28 DC = Passenger Rally (Impala) Chevelle, Chevy II, and Camaro non-Z Rallys were 14 inchers. JK is not an application code, it is a rim contour type designation, according to Colvin's text. |
