It also has a single rally stripe(black). My question is about the single stripe I have never seen a picture of a COPO with a single stripe. Most of my info comes from my magazine collection and the internet. Please don't flame me for my lack of knowledge.I really want to know the answer. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...s/confused.gif

Re: copo question
Thats interesting..I've never seen that one either.

Re: copo question
Almost sounds like it has a Yenko or Baldwin Motion stripe on it. I think there was an original ZL1 that had a single stripe added to it shortly after it was delivered. Maybe it was modeled after that car.

Re: copo question
thanks for your response the stripe does look like the ones on the baldwin motion cars. it has side stripes on the front fenders also.

Re: copo question
Charley´s #3 Berger car had a black stripe over the hood and roof, I believe.

Re: copo question
Once again I would like to thank the guys that have responded to the question. I know its about a model but I really wanted to know. I collect and build models of Baldwin Motion,Yenko,Nickey,C.O.P.O. and Berger cars.

https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/scholar.gif dj89sse, your profile is not complete !
No, I don´t have a picture of it with the stripe. In Musclecar Classics June 1990, they write: "it was still painted the original Daytona Yellow, although someone had added a wide black lace stripe down the center!" This is the way it looked when Bill Porterfield bought it. Anders |
Re: copo question
It is a past feature car that I own but I don't have any pics of it with the stripe other than the tiny shot below the rear window in Hoopers 69 fact book. It is the Berger ZL1.
