Engine shoot out in MCE
Nice article in this month's MCE about a 427 engine shootout, featuring a ZL-1 engine of CopoPetes and a Ford engine belonging to Brian Stefina. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif

Re: Engine shoot out in MCE
Finally got my issue today. Looks good. I think the postman liked Marks car on the cover, cause it looked like it was read 1000 times!

Re: Engine shoot out in MCE
I don't blame the postman...that's one of my 2-3 all time favorite Camaros.

Re: Engine shoot out in MCE
It's amazing how close the specs, and thus end result, are between that FoMoCo 427 and our BBC 427. Brian and I have compared notes, and it's spooky...

Re: Engine shoot out in MCE
I have had to get the last two issues of MCE replaced due to ripped and torn covers and pages. I subscribe to Hot Rod, Corvette Fever, MCE, and Hemmings Muscle Machines, and MCE is the only one that ever shows up in rough shape. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/dunno.gif

Re: Engine shoot out in MCE
Same here, TJ. The most recent issue is the first one in about 4 issues to arrive NOT looking like it took a detour through a paper shredder...

Re: Engine shoot out in MCE
I haven't had any problems getting replacement issues, though. They send them to me in a 1st class envelope. It's just aggravating! Dan
