hey jim, its not my business to say, but if you fill out your profile you may get response on your posts. folks around here want to know with whom they are speaking. i'm just saying this cause i've been on other forums and got ignored because i was a "newbie", and in no way is this site like that. anyway good luck finding your project car.

I agree...while I don't have much interest or knowledge of Mopars, 2800.00 doesn't buy too much these days... if the car is decent, the price sounds fair enough... the bigger issue would be what the car needs, and how much THAT will cost.

Re: Thinking of buying a Challenger??

E body mopars are a pretty hot item right now. Especially 440s, and hemi cars.Even 340s are bringing a fair price. Know this though. That challenger, depending on what you do with it,ie; motor, trans, rear, will run 2-3 times more than a camaro to restore. Looks like it might be in pretty fair shape body wise though. 2800 seems reasonable. Schonye
