The rule with Mopar is that if you didn't order it, they didn't put it on the car. In 67 if the buyer didn't order the $16 console, you didn't get the auto on the console: you got it on the column.

There is difference between rare and valuable. It is entirely possible they made only 2000 Coronet 500s with a six cylinder, but that doesn't make it worth even what a 318 base model car would be worth. You might want to play that point up to him. A/C is nice though. If the body is OK I'd say $2000 is a good price. (less is always better) You can always drop a big block or hemi into it without a whole lot of trouble.

Steve I decided to pass on that one What I really want is 500 with auto on the floor with a 383 or best a 440 even a 361 would be good I know that I could take the six cylinder out but then I would have to round up all the parts. In the last few mouths I have been eyeing up a 59 Bonneville try power at my friend shop but it need to much work if I was younger I would be working on it But with my and my age and disability I would rather find one all done so I can enjoy it
It’s the first time that I ever heard of a coronet 500 with a six cylinder

It's my impression that the 500 came with a V8 standard. And, if it came with a /6 standard, I'd bet it would be much rarer than 2000 made.

Also, it's impossible to tell the numbers in combination of options. /6 or AC but not both together.
