Is there a proper position in our hobby on repoping these? I had the die's( 2 plates-no dash ) made years ago and have them down at my machinist's shop...I have never offered them to be made for sale but we use these in our NHRA cars out here.... https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif

I dont know if its proper but I am installing my set on a race car. I can see your concern for the cloners out there using repoped parts and passing them off as real ones. I guess buyer beware and do your homework before you purchase a car with a heater delete. I think Charley had mentioned that heater delete plates only came on cars that were exported from the lower 48 States and if you wanted to delete your heater you had to purchase the parts at the dealer. Re: Heater Delete Plate

67 all build dates could have received the Heater delete plates and it was on the cowl tag as well. On the trim tag it would be Option group 2H.

68's up until Jan of 68 could have received them. Anything from Jan 68 for the Model Years 68/69 to get them it would have had to been an export car. Keep in mind though the dealers could still sell them over the counter and they could install them. Export meaning anywhere outside the lower 48 states.
