YA vs YO vs LZ wheel?
 

I know what years YA and YO stamped SS wheels go on. Does anybody know what SS wheel this is for?

Right Rear: 5 10 LZ (M4 stamped)

YO man, You mean AO? I'm just guessing here, but if the LZ wheel looks like a 69-70 SS wheel, it may be the Oldsmobile style sport wheel. I think they were chrome plated unlike the Chevy wheel which is painted......Kevin

Yep, I meant AO. Back to the LZ question, the wheel is painted and looks identical to the AO's and YA's. Still don't know what it is though.

It's the Oldsmobile Cutlas sport wheel that some onesand blasted and painted to look like the 69-70 SS wheels. I have seen several at the swapmeets. Try lookig on an Olds website for the code "LZ"

Thanks for the information. I figured something was weird when I pulled off the reproduction trim rings and found different codes on 3 of the wheels. I wasn't surprised since nobody wanted factory rims back in the 70's. Now everybody wants them back! Guess I will have to drain the piggy bank some more and get ones to match my build sheet. The horror....uggggh.
