That was a prototype car that Bill M built and bought it from Chevy. He later did a re-body about 1977 to update it. I have an article on it from about 1977 with square headlights and two hood tachs. Still had ZL1 power.

That front end looks like a Monza [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif[/img].
I love looking at those old magazines. Notice the 'Chevette 4 banger' and the custom van. Remeber those?

I have tons of old magazines like this one from when vans were the rage. In the mid 70's Hot Rod almost became Hot Van for a while.

Unreal Pic Roger! Thanks for posting that original one. Where did you track down the picture? Now this would be an unbelievable find....it would also be unbelieveable how fast those '77 mods would come off if I had posession.
