69 Z 28 intake
 

69 Z 28 alum intake NOS in the box never used.
what it worth ?
I might be able to pick it up but don't have a s/b to use it on.

just picked it up.
drove my 67 camaro over and the guy asked if I was into camaro's ,I said yes and he gave me 2 1/24 diecasts
1 69 ss 396 yellow black stripe,2 67 z28 white w/orange stripes.
cool!

anyhow back to the intake
1#140448836 part# on box,also box has a decal stating off hwy use.
intake has same # with a chevy logo behind carb.
front driver side has a hexagon with a "W" inthe middle and six small snow fakes around it.
brand never installed.

Hi Will. I am trying to figure out what intake you have, but it is not a 69 Z intake. The only one that would be is a #3932472, 4bbl aluminum hi-rise manifold. This is listed in Chevy V-8 casting #'s and Jerry MacNeish's Definitive Z/28 and SS 396 (69) book. I wiil try to find that # in some newer GM books. Still a good deal though........Joel

I think it is possibly a copy of the z-intake but a 80's/90's version, the number looks familiar.

I wasn't sure after I got it home but hey a new alum intake for a buck,thats cool.
maybe I'll put it on my 68 chevy dump truck and then it could be a Z28 clone [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/naughty.gif[/img]

14044836 is the (revised) and (long discontinued) 90`s version of the LT-1 intake. Is it for sale??? e-mail me!
