Motion Diagnostic center pics wanted.
 

Hi Guys,

I was looking for a few pics of the old Motion Diagnostic center. I have seen a few but no colored ones. A buddy is building a 1/18 scale Garage diorama of it and we need all the pic we can get, we need to know the color of the building and the sign. any help would be great.

In Vette Magazine, when they did a spread on the 1967 Astoria-Chase Motion Drag Car, there was a black and white picture of the diagnostic center with some garages closed and some open. I maybe able to send you a copy of it.

Joel changed the Motion signs a few times over the years. Motion Mini Car was on the right side end of the building and had its own sign. I have a big plexi glass Motion sign that was in the window. I bought it from Joel but he was not sure of exact year he installed it. Color pictures are rare. What year are you trying to do?

Thanks for the info guys.I have the Vette mag that has the story on the KO MOTION but it is at my parents house,I'll try to go find it this weekend but if you could send a pic that would be great.Most of the diecast out are from 69 or 70 but there will be the 72 or 74 vega coming out next year, It would be nice to have a "good" pic of the sign from the 70's but no big deal,to me the sign that is in the vette mag was the coolest looking one. Another question is what colors was the sign and also the building?

Yep That's the same one as in the Vette mag. What year is That pic?

Awesome pictures! Those are sweet. I have never seen a Nova with such wide tires. It make me happy to be a member of a club where everyone goes crazy for these things. Let me try and scan it in.
