Who bought this block?
This is one of the 99 Yenko Chevelle blocks. I had done a title search on this car several years ago, and drove to the last titled address on the search results. It was a long shot since the car was last titled in '74, and there was no trace or local memories of the car. But, here's the block!!
I know that someone in CT bought the block and the seller ended the aution early. The buyer is welcome to a copy of my research to date. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2422303093 |
Re: Who bought this block?
Oh, the car was a garnet red 4speed, bench, listed as sold out of Marshall Chev. in Reading, PA but may have been dealer transferred to Stauffer Chev. in Scranton, PA.

Nobody?
Was it Yountto? |
Re: Who bought this block?
Marlin
Have you tried contacting the Seller for who the buyer was? |
Re: Who bought this block?
Yep, they don't remember the guys name, only that he came all the way from CT. I will keep trying, it would be nice to keep tabs on where the block went just in case the car is ever found.

Re: Who bought this block?
That would be interesting! It's not the small clip on the Jim Amos tape is it? It's a red Chevelle, 427 car, but had no stripes on it and had a A&A Stilletto hood - long shot I know, but...
Yountto, if you bought the block, and are looking for the car, let me know. I have the title search results, you are welcome to the info. Hey Kevin S, maybe this Yenko Chevelle raced against your Yenko Nova up there at Pocono Drag Lodge! |
