I used Seam sealer....you can get it at any automotive paint supply house.

You can buy white or tan seam sealer and the Camaro came with the tan.Put a heavy bead down amd mash the cover in and let it run a little. Also the drain covers were not painted and mine have dates stamped into them.

The drain covers in the floor are installed using a grey/white sealer and are installed before paint. The covers are put in with the flat side toward the interior. The covers are painted, but depending on the painter the overspray will be light or heavy depending on gun angle. Not all plugs will have date codes. This is what I have found to be accurate...BKH

Motorhead,
We should likely ask which car you are doing of the ones listed. Chevelles are a little different as I have seen green at some plants and a burnt orange on others. They were also natural galvanized steel and had no paint on them at all. Some of our answers are likely way more than you wanted or cared about but just in case........... Brian, I too hope you are doing well. I think it may be safe to say it took you a little longer to type this evening. Hopefully you are recovering well.
Rick

Ummm...you guys aren't confusing BKH with Brian Stefina, the guy who dropped the TH400 on his hands, are you? Or did the "curse of Brian" extend to Latrobe as well? Are all your digits accounted for BKH?
